We will attend a important event in the city of Plzen, called :
"Thank you America" which are celebrations in honor of the liberation of the city in WW II by the US Army. This includes a Military parade of historic restored WW II vehicles, a re-enactment army camp, displays, and events. The Central Bohemia folklore festival, with lots of folk music, dancing and kroje (folk costumes). We will also visit Pisek, Česke Budějovice, famous Česky Krumlov, have a brewery tour, and lots more. PLUS our unique private village event. Ending in the wonderful golden city of Prague, extensive walking tours, a wonderful river cruise.
NEW Czech-Germany tour June 9-18, 2012. a 10+ day tour. A brand new tour !
We will attend two folk festivals ! ( one is so close, you can walk to it from our hotel ) Then off to unknown parts of Germany... Dresden, thousand year old Bautzen, and Gorlitz We will stay in a hotel with it's own brewery. A day in Poland, visiting a unknown concentration camp. Then to North East Bohemia - brewery and castle tours, a unique school museum, ribbon factory, WW II bunkers, a historic wooden church from 1553. Ending in Prague, with extensive walking tours, river cruise.

This is a special ONE TIME TOUR, to East Bohemia - Kutna hora, Litomysl, and brewery tour.
We will attend the 67th International Straznice folklore festival ! ( largest folk festival in the Czech Republic ) We will also visit Bratislava, charming capital of Slovakia. See the special museum of Alphonse Mucha HUGE paintings, and other places in Moravia. Nest to South Bohemia. Trebon, Ceske Budejovice, Pisek, and Cesky Krumlov. This tour will Includes 3 private performances by local Czech folk dance groups ! ( what a party ! ) Tour ends in Prague.
With the optional tour extension for the Sokol slet. ( this is a event that happens once every four years )
